BADEA BOARD OF DIRECTORS HOLDS ITS LAST MEETING
IN 2004 |
 The
Board of Directors of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA)
held its Fourth meeting in the year 2004, during the period 15-18 December 2004.
The meeting was held under the Chairmanship of H.E. Mr. Ahmed Abdallah Al-Akeil,
Chairman of the Board of Directors, and attended by the Director General of
BADEA H.E. Mr. Medhat S. Lotfy.
During this meeting, the last for this year, the Board of Directors reviewed a
number of reports, mainly the Director General’s report on the Bank’s activities
and achievements through the period October to December 2004. The Board reviewed
also a number of reports, including a financial report covering the third
quarter of the year and a report on the portfolio management performance for the
same period.
Likewise, the Board of Directors reviewed the Bank’s administrative expenditure
in 2004 and approved the administrative budget for 2005.
As regards the 2005 lending programme earmarked to cover projects and technical
assistance operations, the Board approved a ceiling of US $ 160 million. |
