Within the framework of cooperation between the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) and the Arab Financing Institutions, H.E. Mr. Fahad Rashid Al Ibrahim the Director General of Inter-Arab Investment Guarantee Corporation visited on Sunday 18/02/2007, the Bank's Headquarters in Khartoum and met with the Director General H.E. Mr. Abdelaziz KHELEF.

Discussions between the two parties, which attended by the Director of Operations in Inter-Arab Investment Guarantee and by some of BADEA's officials, revolved around the joint cooperation between the two institutions and means of strengthening and promoting such cooperation.

H.E. Al Ibrahim emphasized on the importance of cooperation between the two institutions and briefed the meeting on the future activities of his institution, and commended the prominent role of BADEA in developing the African continent by assisting the economic and social development efforts in the African continent.

Responding, H.E. Abdelaziz KHELEF BADEA Director General reiterated his commitment to maintaining and enhancing the relationship between the two institutions and highlighted the importance of the efforts required to promote the Arab Investments in the African continent which could be vital for achieving the Arab-African cooperation.
