A Five-Day workshop for BADEA's Focal Points and Desk
Officers from some of the Francophone African Countries
starts today 9th of November 2008, at the Headquarters
of BADEA in Khartoum.
Fifteen participants from the Republics of Senegal,
Congo (Brazzaville), Cameroon, Côte D'Ivoire,
Madagascar, Togo, Central African Republic, Mali,
Burkina Faso, Niger, Cape Verde, Chad, Guinea,
Democratic Republic of Congo and Benin will participate
in the Workshop organized by BADEA's experts on the
activities of the Bank.
A number of papers will be presented to the Focal Points
Desk Officers covering all BADEA activities in all
fields. The event represents an opportunity for the
participants to exchange views with BADEA's experts in
order to enhance Afro-Arab Cooperation between BADEA and
their respective countries.
A similar workshop was held from 1-5 June 2008 for the
benefit of participants from Anglophone African
countries, mainly from Mozambique, Mauritius, Ethiopia,
Seychelles, Namibia, Zambia, Tanzania Kenya and Lesotho.
