BADEA Organizes The Third Forum Of Arab And African Consulting Firms

BADEA's Third Forum of  Arab and African Consulting Firms will be held in NAIROBI, capital of the Republic of Kenya, during the period 9-10 December 2009. Fifty participants from Arab and African Consulting Firms, Coordination Group of Arab Financing Funds, Kenya Government will take part in the event, Dean of Arab and African Ambassadors in Kenya, and a number of dignitaries will also be present. The Forum will be held with the coordination of the Ministry of Finance of Kenya. 

The inaugural session will be addressed by H.E the Ist Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kenya and the Director General of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) H.E. Mr. Abdelaziz KHELEF.

A number of papers will be presented during the Forum covering different issues of mutual interest to Arab and African Consulting Firms.

The two- day Forum is a continuation of First and Second Fora which were held in Cairo (June 2007) and Tunis (November 2008), with the aim of reaching an effective partnership between African and Arab Consulting Firms.

The outcome of the First and Second fora will be discussed, in addition to papers on the Role of the Consultant in excuting  and follow up of projects implementation. A third item about the formation of the Federation of Arab and African Consultants will also be discussed.
