REHABILITATION OF KABALA WATER SUPPLY SCHEME
Tender Notice
The Government of the Sierra Leone has obtained a loan from the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) for financing the rehabilitation of the Kabala Water Supply Scheme by re-constructing the township water network and a new service reservoir to meet the increased water demand in Kabala town. Designs for the works have been completed and the scope of work will include:
• Construction of a 2500kl reinforced concrete reservoir
• Construction of 2 x 10kl reinforced concrete tanks
• Construction of 2 x 5kl elevated steel tanks
• Construction of 2 x booster pump stations
• Construction of approximately 22km of pipe work ranging from ND63mm to ND315mm
• Construction of 74 standpipes
• Construction of all the relevant fittings to complete the project.
